Marc Leon – Horizons
Jun 02Marc Leon is one of Australia’s premiere blues players. His music career spans almost 5 decades, from the 1960s with the Vibrants, then the 1970s with Graduate. In the 70s and 80s he was also a top ranking studio session player – backing the likes of Renee Gayor, John Farnham and Chuck Berry. The 80s also saw him go solo with his album “the Power Of the Blues” and (this) jazz fusion album “Horizons”. The 90s saw him return to rock and blues with the critically acclaimed WHIPPING POST band – widely thought of as Australia’s answer to the Allman Brothers. After the demise of Whipping Post, Marc returned to solo playing and formed his current band MTB. His latest solo album “Special Edition” was released in 2007. All Marc’s solo albums are available direct by contacting him on Marc’s Facebook Page. Photo courtesy of Fred...
